Development on Witchbrook is progressing rapidly. The team recently submitted the final batch of in-game text for translation and is currently running internal end-game balancing playtests, QA bug-hunting, and console porting. Additionally, Chucklefish confirmed that Korean and Russian language support has been added to the game.

Personalizing Your Witch Cottage

Your home base in the coastal town of Mossport is a inherited two-storey cottage passed down by your late Aunt. Players can fully customize their space using furniture bought at local shops like Harbour Home, market stalls, or earned through NPC quests.

• Magic-Powered Decorating: Instead of heavy lifting, players use a Telekinesis spell to position items around their home.
• Grid & Wall Placement: Surfaces support stacked items for a cozy, cluttered look, while walls feature independent placement for wallpapers, posters, and wreaths.
• Custom Lighting: Ambient lighting can be adjusted on a per-lamp basis to dial in the perfect atmosphere.

Gardening, Livestock & Outbuildings

Gardens are a vital extension of your witch’s lifestyle. Players can grow seasonal herbs in planters to fuel potion-making and crafting, or let the land grow wild into a meadow to attract friendly animals and boost honey production for beekeeping.

Throughout the campaign, players will unlock functional outbuildings, including greenhouses to cultivate out-of-season plants and specialized huts that grant access to College-level tools right on your homestead.

Co-op Multiplayer Cottages

When playing in online multiplayer, visiting friends can help redecorate host cottages in real-time. To ensure everyone gets their own space, multiplayer sessions expand the player land to reveal dedicated co-op cottages - such as a watermill, a sunroom cottage, or a cliffside retreat - allowing each player to manage their own decorated home and garden area.
