Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 Highlights

New 5-Star Resonators

• Qingxiao (Aero / Sword) - Main DMG Dealer / Tune Strain Response. A legendary sword cultivator known as the Sword Transcendent. (Featured on the 'Wind of Transcendence' Banner).
• Jingran (Fusion / Broadblade) - Main DMG Dealer / Heavy Attack DMG. A wandering Nethermancer and explorer from Mengzhou. (Featured on the 'Where Santu Beckons' Banner).

New 5-Star Weapons

• Glint of Clouds (Sword) - Signature weapon for Qingxiao.
• Thousandfold Deliverance (Broadblade) - Signature weapon for Jingran.

New Map Area & Story Quests

• New Location: Xuanyuan Domain (unlocked via Main Quest Chapter IV Act III).
• New Main Quests: Chapter IV Act III: "Song of the Heart Sword" & Chapter IV Segue: "The Nethermancer's Requiem".
• New Echo: Calamity Effigy.

Key Events & Feature Updates

• Resonance Sim Realm: Experimental combat event running from Aug 22 to Sept 29.
• If Dreams Still Reverberate: Co-op combat event set in the depths of Somnoire (Sept 10 – Sept 29).
• Expedition Motorbike: Added customizable Display Themes (Garage backgrounds) and improved Autopilot navigation.

Tech & Engine Upgrades

• NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Support: Introduces 5x and 6x Frame Generation support for RTX 50-Series GPUs.
• Vulkan Mobile Expansion: Expanded Vulkan support to Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9200+ mobile processors.
• New Performance Test: Rollout of a new cross-platform programming language optimization to improve average framerates.
