Dates take place across Mossport, where players choose two distinct activities to attend together. The world features over 200 context-specific "chatter locations" (such as the jewelry shop, college bridge, or beach seaweed).

Relationship milestones are initiated using physical cards purchased from the Mossport Post Office. Card types include options to ask someone out, propose "going steady," or trigger a breakup.

The post office features rotating seasonal card stock (such as springtime tulip cards for confessions or jack-o'-lantern cards for Halloween breakups). Sending a "going steady" card officially locks in the relationship and unlocks higher-tier privileges, including sleepovers.
