Halo: Campaign Evolved: Early Access Started

[UPDATE 4] It's official, Halo: Campaign Evolved is back-up. If it doesn't work, follow these steps:

• On XBOX, power cycle the console by pressing the XBOX button on the console front for 10 seconds.
• On Windows, type wsreset into the Start menu and select Run command to clear your cache.

[UPDATE 3] Although the X account Halo Support hasn't confirmed yet, it seems that the issues involving early access are resolved.

[UPDATE 2] There is a workaround to still access Halo: Campaign Evolved in early access. The game seems to start-up for Game Pass Ultimate owners with the Premium Edition Upgrade using Xbox Cloud.

Halo: Campaign Evolved Early Access

[UPDATE] Early Access for Halo: Campaign Evolved is officially live for players who pre-ordered the Premium Edition. However, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers who purchased the Premium Edition Upgrade are currently unable to access the game, receiving a "You are too early" error upon launching.

Halo Support - the official X account for release, outage, and flight updates regarding Halo - is letting us know that they are aware of the issue. We will try to update our coverage as soon as we spot an update on Hallo Support.

The global launch is set for July 28, 2026. Players who own the Premium or Collector’s Edition gain up to five days of Early Access.

Early Access & Editions

Owners of the Premium Edition or Collector’s Edition receive the 5-day Early Access period. For Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, a "Premium Edition Upgrade" is available for $20.00, granting all the benefits of the early launch.

The Premium Edition includes:

• Full base game (not in the upgrade).
• Alpha Halo Armory Pack: 5 Master Chief armor skins and 6 weapon skins.
